At-Risk Grants may be used for:

  • Emergency hay
  • End of life/euthanasia
  • Gelding
  • Farrier services (not routine maintenance care of feet)
  • Emergency medical care, including teeth floating (not routine maintenance care of teeth), laceration repair, de-wormer, or other emergency medical intervention for horses at risk of becoming unwanted

There is no deadline to apply for a CUHA At Risk Fund Grant.
